Happy Holidays!
This month's newsletter is about celebrating the season and
all it has to offer. This issue is dedicated to the memory of
Travis Desiato who died tragically and heroically in Iraq on Nov.

The halls of the Renaissance Boston Bedford Hotel are
decked. The gingerbread house is set. The lights twinkle
on the gazebo in the courtyard. The scene is set for Santa.
Soon he and his elves will arrive to bring toys for the
good little girls and boys (and hopefully the adults too).
Everyone is getting ready for his arrival.
Among them are three very special employees. Aaron, Donna
and Robby are all full time employees who have worked hard
for the hotel and Bistro 44 for the past 20 years. Unsung
heroes, they work in the wings with the rest of the kitchen
staff making sure that every dish is spotless, every piece
of silverware is polished, every crystal clear.

glue, screen, hinges, and roller casters
For the glue/frosting, mix
8 gallons of egg whites
75 pounds of powdered sugar
2 pounds of cocoa powder
Attach:
1500 graham crackers
85 gingersnap cookies
65 gingerbread cookies
10 pounds of gum drops
10 pounds of peppermints
75 Jolly Ranchers
80 feet of ribbon candy
You can make history right in your very own home! It's easy
to do. Assemble the list of ingredients above and you too
can build your very own gingerbread house based on Bedford's
historic Job Lane house (ca. 1720).
