Dancin' Diva Dishes
Is it mundane or is it marvelous?

Crank up some Tina Turner on the kitchen cd player.

Put on the purple feather boas, flip your shiny Mardi Gras beads over your shoulder and get ready to rumba! Get funky. Move your body. And, oh, by the way, if you're not wiggling enough, one of the little Pinneys might just say to you, "Daddy, I don't see you dancing!"

We call it Dancin' Diva Dishes. And Tina's the mother of all Divas. That's how we do the dishes at our house. There is nothing boring about it. The dishes practically fly out of the dishwasher. It literally takes no time at all. In fact I think my girls, now 10 and 7, are actually disappointed when the dishes are dirty.

So as the marketing person and the mom, I ask you:

Can you take dishes and make them dance?

Can you take something mundane, like writing your e-newsletter and make it marvelous?

Can you give your audience something special to look forward to?

Over the next few e-newsletters, I'm going to share some ideas that you can use to make your writing more exciting.

1) Crank up the music!
Pick a new internet radio station (Real Player has 100's available with free access)
2) Write it like it's poem, a song, or a toast
3) Get yourself a colorful new pen

I won't make you come over to our house after dinner, but I do challenge you to see if you can make your chores rock like ours.

Drop me a note and let me know how you get into the groove and how you get your e-newsletter onto the dance floor.

Get moving! And let the good times roll!
