    Hello Everyone!

I love these meetings because I always learn something new. It was nice to hear that Melinda Nicholson of Middlesex Savings Bank also learned something new about color and applied it! As a result of Kimberly Bee's talk last year on color, Melinda painted a room in her house chili pepper red: the hot color of 2007.

What new thing will you learn from our next presentation? Join us for our March 20th meeting entitled "An Overview of Elm Brook Place" to find out more!

Carrie Endicott, Director of Elm Brook Place will share the myriad of services offered by Elm Brook Place, a support resource for men and women with persistent mental illness. The purpose of her talk will be to create more awareness and sensitivity to the social and vocational challenges faced by persons living with a mental illness, and the resources available to help them live healthier, productive and fulfilling lives.

Carrie Endicott is a vocational rehabilitation specialist who has worked with people living with severe and persistent mental illness for the past 13 years. She has served Eliot Community Human Services, Inc as a Community Employment Coordinator, and later as Director of Elm Brook Place. She is experienced with benefits counseling, job development, placement and disability entitlements. Funded by the Massachusetts Dept. of Mental Health, the program serves over 200 people in 15 surrounding communities.

Prior to our feature presentation, Kristina Philipson, a Project Manager with Kaiser Permanente (healthcare web connectivity) has the stage for her 5-minute business spotlight.

Please join us as we start off the meeting with informal networking, followed by introductions including Joan's question, while we eat our lunch.

Please an interested friend, and your ideas/questions/comments.
